Dr. C Krishna Mohan

Dr. C. Krishna Mohan is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), India. He has been with IIT Hyderabad since 2009. He worked as Dean of Public and Corporate Relations, IIT Hyderabad, from Jan 2020 till Jan 2022. He was also the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Hyderabad, from May 2010 till October 2014. Before joining IIT Hyderabad, he was a senior faculty member at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal (NITK Surathkal). He received his M.Tech from NITK Surathkal and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).

Prof Krishna Mohan heads Visual Learning and Intelligence Lab (VIGIL) at IIT Hyderabad working in the research areas of video content analysis, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning. He is a recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award, in recognition of distinguished teaching in the years 2018 and 2021 at IIT Hyderabad. He has published more than 90 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. He has guided several Ph.D. (14), Masters (33), and Undergraduate (56) students. He has successfully carried out several projects with industry, government agencies, and academia. Dr. C. Krishna Mohan was a Member of the Board of Governors (BOG), IIT Hyderabad, from June 2020 to December 2021 and Member of the Board of Governors (BOG), IIIT Kottayam from July 2022. Also, he is a Member of the Board of Directors, IIT Hyderabad Technology Research Park from September 2020 and a Member of the Board of Directors, i-TIC which is Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at IIT Hyderabad from September 2020. He is a Senate Member of IIT Hyderabad from November 2010. Also, he served as Senate Member of IIT Tirupati from September 2019 to April 2022, and IIITDM Kurnool from May 2019 to May 2021. He serves as a reviewer for several reputed international conferences and IEEE journals and is a Senior Member of IEEE, Member of ACM, AAAI Member, Life Member of ISTE, Fellow of IEI, IETE, and TAS.

Dr. D. Rajesh Reddy

Scientist-SF, ADRIN, ISRO

Dr. D Rajesh Reddy obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science & Engg with distinction from JNTU Hyderabad. He received his PhD in Computer Science & Engg from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Currently, He is Scientist-SF in Advanced Data Processing Research Institute (ADRIN), ISRO, Department of Space, Hyderabad. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (FIE), fellow of Institute of Engineers and fellow of IETE, Senior Member IEEE, Life member of Astronautical Society of India.

His research works include satellite image processing and analysis, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), computer vision, pattern recognition, artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques. He has 30 publications in the peer reviewed Journals and International Conferences. He is also serving as a reviewer for IEEE journal of selected topics in applied earth observations & remote sensing, IEEE transactions on geosciences and remote sensing, Neurocomputing (Elsevier) and Neural computing and applications (Springer).

He has received Team Excellence Award from chairman ISRO in 2018. He has also received a certificate of appreciation from Aviation Research Centre, NSCS, New Delhi for his work base layer creation using Indian Remote Sensing Satellites. Recently, He was awarded Institute Alumni Award from IIT Hyderabad for his distinguished contribution to the nation building in 2023.




Khaled Rabie

Khaled M. Rabie (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Manchester, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. He is currently a Distinguished Associate Professor with the Computer Engineering Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. He has worked as a part of several largescale industrial projects and has published 200+ journal and conference articles (mostly IEEE). His current research interests focus on designing and developing next-generation wireless communication systems.

He serves regularly on the technical program committee (TPC) for several major IEEE conferences, such as GLOBECOM, ICC, and VTC. He is currently serving as an Editor of IEEE COMMUNICATIONS LETTERS and IEEE Internet of Things Magazine. Khaled has received many awards over the past few years in recognition of his research contributions including the Best Paper Awards at the 2021 IEEE CITS (2021) and IEEE ISPLC (2015). He was also awarded the IEEE Internet of Things Magazine Best Editor award (July, 2023) and the IEEE ACCESS Editor of the month award (August, 2019). Khaled is also a Fellow of the U.K. Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Fellow of the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI).




Dr. Yen-Wei Chen

Yen-Wei Chen received the BE degree from Kobe University, Kobe, Japan, in 1985 and the ME and DE degrees from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1987 and 1990, respectively. From 1991 to 1994, he was a research fellow with the Institute of Laser Technology, Osaka, Japan. From October 1994 to March 2004, he was an associate professor and a professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of the Ryukyus, Okinawa, Japan. He is currently a professor with the College of Information Science and Engineering, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan.

He was a visiting professor with Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom, in 2003 and with Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, in 2010. He is also a visiting professor with the College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, and the Zhejing Lab, Hangzhou, China. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Image and Graphics (IJIG), and the International Journal of Knowledge-Based and Intelligent Engineering Systems. His research focuses on computer vision, medical image analysis, and machine learning. He has published more than 300 research papers in these fields. He received various awards, such as Best Paper Award of ICPR2012 and the Paper Award of the Medical Imaging Technology (Journal)
